Cory,I video taped it and it was penance! It was so long of a "Mass" almost 3 hours! My arms were killing me holding the camera, so that explains the wobbley footage in some parts. I'm not a big fan of Latin Mass, but seeing this makes me understand why people want it back.
Carole, "bingo!" My personal reason for generally only attending the TLM or OF in Latin is because I've grown weary of the long, drawn out translation wars of the English liturgy. My money followed me as well. But I digress. Mahony is a left-wing loon extraordinaire, sooo 1960s and sooo out of touch with where the Church is at today. Isn't that the heart of the error of Modernism that has gutted so many particular churches in the West?
People like that feel the need to invent a new church out of whole cloth precisely because they've swallowed the lie that says we have to be "relevant" when we have to in fact be eternal.
Anyone married to the times is bound to be divorced.
