I just heard this from a video clip where sen. obama acutally said the following:
"the strongest foreign relation experience that I have is . . . the fact that I spent 4 years living overseas when I was a child"
Are people seriously and honestly considering this guy to be the next president??
AMP - an "absurd quote of the day" post will be quite interesting!! :)

The video by Eduardo Verastegui, linked from One Baby One Vote, has graphic images, but should be required viewing for anyone who supports abortion.
It will open peoples' eyes to the fact that abortion is exactly like the holocaust. Watching that video brought to mind the horrible scenes of soldiers moving the uncovered bodies of those killed in concentration camps.

I don't know why, but I'm getting a gut feeling that Obama may lose this election. One of my good Catholic friends, who is also anti-Obama, stated yesterday that he thinks McCain has about a 15% chance of winning. I think his chances are increasing everyday. I also think Obama's 30-minute ab infomercial may have turned off more people than it excited. It painted a rather sorry picture of America. Not only that, the mock Oval Office in the background was a bit presumptuous and very arrogant. He's acting like he's won and I'm not sure if that's going to help him or hurt him in convincing those mysterious "undecideds" that he's The One.
Also, I had a conversation with a good Catholic friend of mine in Dallas last night. It seems the bishops (and ex-bishops) down there are being heard and heeded, especially by the Catholic Hispanic voting block. Some who were voting for Obama two weeks ago, have changed their mind in obedience to Church teaching, once made aware. I know Texas is in the bag for McCain, but I wonder if this is good news for other states that have large Hispanic Catholic communities? Maybe that explains the wild flip in the polls for Catholics?

Those people who equate abortion with the death penalty should realize that the baby did not have a choice but the criminal did!

All connected- wonderful. An increasingly unified Catholic presence in this dance. Not what the Uncle Toms in various guises- Catholics for Obama, Catholics Bought By Soros, etc.- intended. My gut sez McCain wins by a margin equal to, or greater than, that by GWB in '04. Might be buyer's remorse over Obama. Might be L'Affair Joe The Plumber. Might be that he keeps too many secrets about his life. Might even be that he never met an infanticide he didn't like. Keep those beads working, guys and gals.

Joseph:
I share your "gut feeling". Been praying the rosary in a novena for victory, and I have a sense of peace with this election because I got the sense that God sent Joe the Plumber as a turning point.
He loves to use the small and insignificant to bring down the mighty, doesn't He? Like David and Goliath.
And if God sent Joe the Plumber to defeat Obama, then He must want John McCain to win. And if God wants John McCain to win, John McCain is going to win!

Great links, Thomas...
Speaking of round-the-clock prayers on Election Day: a priest who comes to say the EF Mass twice a month is a chaplain and instructor at the Fraternity of St. Peter's St. Gregory Academy in PA. He told us last Sunday that on Election Day, the Academy boys are going to have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and a continous Rosary in their chapel from 8:00 am (I think) till their 'lights out' at 10:00 pm. Isn't that cool?
I've been doing the Novena to "Our Lady of America" after my daily Rosary....we need all the prayers and heavenly assistance we can get!
I'm with you, Joseph and atheling!

If you and any other pro life Catholic have the inclination, join us Prayer Warriors at teamsarah.org for a 3 day prayer and fasting starting tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 2, to end on Tues., Nov. 4 to pray for a pro life victory (meaning McCain!).
We are fasting as we would on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday during Lent. We are calling it the "Queen Esther" fast.
