If you don't feel sad for Vicki, you are not nice... Nice people are supposed to feel sad for people who themselves feel sad.

If you are not a nice person, you are probably bad (and it goes without saying wrong) because bad people are mean and don't really care about other people...

I don't know whether to laugh at this or to feel sorry for him. I agree at the fact that he acknowledges he needs a lot of prayer, but why act like there is nothing wrong in the first place.

You can't have a double standard here. Especially playing a leadership role in the church. Character realization should aid in the process of gradual change yes, but sometimes you have to step aside until that change is complete.
