Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey reintroduced the bill in April in the Senate and issued a statement alleging that pregnancy centers mislead women by giving them information on abortion's risks and alternatives.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't from NJ. Sen. Menendez, the PRC (Pregnancy Recourse Center) is not misleading woman, it's telling the truth, that there is an alternative to abortion, and it is risky. I wish people did their "homework" before speaking.
In Britain they have introduced legislation to arrest and imprison those social service providers who talk a woman out of having an abortion.
Mark my words, they will start to do the same to those Christians who speak out against abortion.
Then they will have a trial in the Sharia Court.
I'm not sure, but I think Muslims are anti-abortion.
But I understand your reference to the increasing influence of Sharia law in the UK.
And I am anticipating a severe restriction of religious freedom in the coming years.
Ironically enough, Islam is against abortion.
I sometimes wonder if God allows the rise of Islam as a scourge to the faithless West?

Atheling-I'm thinking the same thing, because the 'native' Europeans are contracepting and aborting themselves to death, and the Moslems have lots of kids.
As I was accompanying my Cub Scout selling popcorn the other day, it occurred to me that it could be the last time if, God forbid,Obama were to be elected. The Boy Scouts would have to retreat to the woods.
Prof. Robert Spaemann told me of his risky and clandestine adventures as a Scout wandering around the Schwaebisch Alb in southern Germany, always hiding their scout activities from the German authorities. Many were discovered and were forced to enlist and then sent to a war zone and killed.
So folks, vote for McCain. Obama'a change is not the kind with which we or the unborn babies can live.
