Gravatar Uncle Henry: Come on, everybody in the storm cellar!

Aunt Em: Henry! Henry! I can't find Dorothy! She's somewhere out in the storm! Dorothy! Dorothy!

Dorothy: Auntie Em! Auntie Em! Auntie Em! Auntie Em! Come and let me in! Auntie Em!

Gravatar I don't see anyone in the picture outside gawking at the sky. No good Kansan seeks shelter during a severe storm unless extreme danger is imminent! :) I don't know if you found the photo yourself or if someone submitted this, but do you know where in Kansas this was taken?

Gravatar Nathan, you are obviously a Kansan! My daughter went to Mizzou, and was the only one still in her dorm room when the sirens sounded (everyone else fled for shelter). She looked out the window and decided that there were no SLCs (scary looking clouds--for those of you who are Kansas challenged). I think she used the opportunity to take a shower (or a nap)!

Gravatar I'm very proud of my Kansas heritage! Whenever I cross the border back into the state, I always think "Welcome back to God's country." :) However, as a devoted Jayhawk, I must question your daughter's sensibilities in going to Mizzou! ;) In all seriousness, your daughter behaved exactly as a good Kansan should! I can only hope she pointed and laughed at the others in her dorm when the storm passed. :)
