Ha! I was going to send this to you if you hadn't seen it. It is one of my occasional indulgences too, as I don't catch it every week.
There was an episode of House last season that was about the strongest pro-life argument ever made in Hollywood. House tries to get a woman to end her pregnancy to save her life. HE argues it's not a real life yet. She refuses. He has to operate on the fetus at one point and seeing it and its movement marks a profound change in his character. You can see it in his eyes when he first realizes that it's a real life.
Of course, there was also the episode where House encourages a 15 year old to terminate a pregnancy without her parents' knowledge, she does, and everyone just goes on their merry way.
I haven't seen the show in about two years, though.
and surely, i'm not praising the show because i believe it's conclusions are always correct.
Just wanted to say that I read your blog regularly, though somehow I missed this post.
House is my favorite fictional show ever, and it's really interesting to read your moralities on it.
