Gravatar Boy, I can't wait for the sneers and jeers from the MSM when they read this.

Gravatar It is supreme irony that you post this immediately after your post concerning mandatory HPV vaccines for young girls.

Gravatar I'm glad to see this. It's such a positive encouragement, instead of a "don't don't don't don't don't" sort of lecture, which is often true in essentials but not so edifying or charitable. Or, on the other hand, just ducking the issue. You tend to get one extreme or the other, rarely the practicable truth.

We ended up praying a LOT during our engagement, which was great practice for marriage (I don't know how people survive without it!), and also talking about temptation and desire, likewise very helpful for the future. Not that we didn't kiss a little (!) bit!

Gravatar exmalcom - how is it ironic? Is it not perfectly logical?

Gravatar Yes. It's logical. It's ironic, not from the standpoint of your beliefs, but for the contradicting views of papa Ben vs. the whacky libs in texas.

Gravatar Ah, okay. gotcha. There's often crashes like that around here. :)

Gravatar eXmalcom,

Just FYI, we can't pin the HPV mandate on the "wacky Libs in texas". Sad to say, Perry is a card carrying "conservative" evangelical who never met a statist idea he didn't like.

He's a statist, like many in government, but not a liberal.
