I don't like this. Mugabe is a beast, but why should a 60 year old prelate in good health resign under a cloud....it never, ever, looks good. Ever.

Well, if the video is not faked, and this is quite possible, it is a sad thing. But if it is faked, I suppose he has to resign anyway.

Looks like the 3rd world thugs are learning something from the abuse scandal here in our world with the media coverage, to discredit and LOOT the Church that tries to oppose them; without the old style direct persecution and killing.

Well, yes, if the people he is trying to lead believe the slander, it compromises his ability to be an effective witness. That doesn't seem very hard to see.

I don't see the logic here. Someone makes a scandal video about a bishop. If the video is true, he needs to resign; if the video is false, he needs to resign. Sounds like a nifty way to get rid of a bishop. Either way, he's out.

That can't be right.
