Dunno.
I think it would've looked a lot better with a big green wall in the background out in left field.
Isn't God a Red Sox fan?

If that's supposed to be Yankee Stadium, then the artist's rendition isn't very accurate.

Brassband,
Taking into account the totality of the last eighty-odd years of history, I'd guess not.

BTW, to all the folks who thought the D.C. design was "too modern", . . .

The purple is nice looking, but seeing as how this Mass will be in the Easter Season, is it appropriate from a liturgical standpoint?

I'm not sure I like what they did with the baseball diamond. It's a little bit tacky. The altar looks nice though. Just thinking about this though reminds me of some of the masses I've been to in stadia. Not really well designed for the mass if you ask me. I think that the pope's comment that you mentioned earlier has some validity, i.e. should we be doing these big outdoor masses. anyways, I'm excited for him to come to U.S. And for his new encyclical, its definitely going to be a papist summer.

WAC --
I'm not saying He's always been a member of Red Sox Nation; I'd say He jumped on board somewhere between the 8th and 9th inning, game four, 2004 LCS.

I'll be at the seminary. Looking forward to seeing it "live".
