Ugh, you need a 'none of the above' option.

Gotta love Brownback...not only is he pro-life, but he's also from my hometown!

Gravatar The Hillary and Al votes have got to be a joke, right?

Gravatar It seems increasingly likely that there will not be a pro-life candidate in the presidential race. Stinging from their 2006 defeat, talk radio pundits and the conservative websites have declared Rudy Giuliani an "electable" candidate and pronounced his abortion views (public funding, pro-partial-birth) as "moderate" and "sensible." It's still early, but if this trend continues, pro-lifers will find themselves marginalized even among self-described conservatives. It's frightening.

Gravatar Obama has shining charisma and a fresh and original appraoch - too bad he is obviously pro-choice. Huckabee of Arkansas is a long shot, as are Santorum and Brownback. Brownback has stellar policies and morals, but isn't exactly, er, presidential. This is my first vote and I have no idea who will get it.

Gravatar How about Ron Paul? I love a libertarian....

Gravatar Ron Paul is often criticized by Republicans for being weak on national security. Duncan Hunter, though, is strong on all these points.

Gravatar You left out the three good guys, Tom Tancredo, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul. Are you trying to skew the poll????

Gravatar I wanted to vote but it told me I had already voted! Do I smell ballot box stuffing? LOL

Gravatar I agree with Michelle; I'd have voted Brownback anyway, but Hunter and Tancredo belong.

Gravatar So there will be a new pole when Newt Gingrich throws his hat into the ring?

Gravatar I agree with James. I would that Newt Gingrich would announce soon.

Gravatar It's all too depressing. The pro-life candidates are too soft on immigration; the one who can be trusted with security is a diagnosable heretic. Yet we all know that Giuliani will be feted and anointed, because he's "mainstream" and "electable." It's an insult to the vast majority of Americans.

One of these days we will get over this will-nilly democracy thing and go back to the safe ground of the monarchy . . . oh yes, we will.

Gravatar I cannot imagine a President named Brownback.

Gravatar You'd get a vote out of me (probably a lot of them) if you'd ask me which ones I couldn't possibly vote for.....

Honestly, my mind's not made up yet on the candidate. I know which issues; I know which party. I just haven't seen the candidate yet.

Gravatar I can tell you this: I want someone who slams the immigration doors shut--and tight.

Gravatar you forgot to list the *great* Ron Paul! :)

Gravatar "I cannot imagine a President named Brownback."

Gotta be better than President Huckabee.

As for Ron Paul, I see he just sponsored a "Industrial Hemp Farming Act", to, ya know, reduce the trade deficit. Seems like odd priorities to me.

Gravatar I didn't vote. You need either:
A) None of the above; or,
B) Other

Gravatar Apparently, a good 18%+ of the poll voters are soft a anti-human humans.

Gravatar Don't give Giuliani too much credit -- he may look good in the press, but he won't ever survive the Southern primaries, which you need to win.

My money's on Huckabee -- if you don't know anything about the guy, go find out about him.

Gravatar You definitely need to add Ron Paul to this list. Not only is he a strict Constitutionalist, he is also totally pro-life and against amnesty for illegal aliens. Of course he's not getting a lot of press coverage because he wants limited government the way our founding fathers intended. Sam Brownback would be a second choice except for his position on illegal immigration.
