Basically, the scientists say it's OK because they're going to kill these poor creatures before they grow up; the Catholic Bishops say that they shouldn't be made, but once they are, they should be assumed to be moral beings and thus protected.

This Law is just evidence and a product of the UK's moral decline.

I live in the UK. This country is a moral vacuum and is in need of rechristianisation, so anyone who wants to come over to this mission territory.

The majority of the British public were against the proposals of the Bill, but MPs voted in favour of it anyway. It's still going through Parliament; it hasn't become law yet.
