And WHY would this be noteworthy or of concern? I'm not tracking. Who cares if Pope Benedict made such a comment? It seems appropriate to me, given the situation of the Faith in Britain. In order to receive a miracle, doesn't one need to ask for it (with Cardinal Newman's intercession)? Who's going to do that in secular Britain?

Further, it seems the comment was made partially in jest, but again, why would this matter either way?
