I recall that when they went to Portugal, a naval frigate intercepted them and made them back down.
Also, I read how when the ship went to PL, they must have docked in port, because they complained of furious mobs of Poles hounding them and even throwing eggs at them, as if that was the real human rights abouse taking place!

Even large boats and ships rock and move with the waves. I personally love the feeling of being on the water, but cannot imagine undergoing surgery under those conditions!
