I have a second reason for writing this message. I want to ask you to pass along something to your father, since I don't know how otherwise to contact him.

On his blog, on October 10, he has a thread that contains the following words: "The Cardinal Newman Society has published a Guide to Choosing an [American] Catholic College. ... The Guide missed a very good call by not including the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota. The Catholic Studies program there is first class, and the wider university seems to be undergoing a striking metamorphosis at the graduate and undergraduate levels."

I don't know if he is now aware of the fact that, the very next day, the (usually excellent) "Lifesite" page contained a damning story about U. of St. T.. Please pass along this URL to your father:

PS: I meant to request that your father delete his October 10 blog thread, in light of the revealed info -- lest unsuspecting parents/students apply to go to school at U. of St. T, based on your father's recommendation.

PPS: Doggone it! I didn't mean to say that he should delete the whole thread, but rather that he should delete his praise of U. of St. T.. Sorry.
