Lawrence beat me to it.
It could be like one of those crossover specials on television, or comic books. But instead of superheroes: bloggers.

How about a get-together for readers from Boston? A tour of the Seminary and the Cathedral followed by a dinner in the Boston's Italian North End.
Father Z. seems to do this when he travels, and it seems like he enjoys it!

Well If you are into pilgrimage...there are some saints you could visit:
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, in Emmitsburg, with a shrine of Lourdes just up the road at Mt. St.Mary's. St. Katherine Drexel and St. John Neumann in Philly. Father Walter Ciszek (Author of "He Leadeth Me" and "With God in Russia" who has a cause for canonization) is buried in the Jesuit cemetery in Wernersville PA, and a great museum (Ok, a small Museum about his life) in Shenandoah PA.
Have fun!

I'm a Bostonian, but if you take Carole's advice about going to the Mother House of St. Katherine Drexel's order (including her tomb) let me know. My aunt and cousin are Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and I could give them a heads up to make arrangements for you, especially if you want to stay the night.

Thomas,
I had the pleasure of attending mass at Ss. Peter & Paul in Philly the (Sat.) night (aka. the slackers' mass) before the Marathon last fall. It was absolutely breathtaking. Plus we got an orthodox homily, and a reverent and abuse free liturgy to boot.
Well worth your while... especially if you plan to run a marathon the next day!

You visited my alma mater, did you? I hope if you met anyone it was the likes of Tacelli and Kreeft and not Groome and... oh yeah, everyone else.

Oh, and speaking of Boston College, I just read on their website that we're having Jon Sobrino, SJ, lecture on "The Catholic University in the 21st Century" on March 13.
How predictable. How unsurprising. How nauseating.
