That is beautiful. Where did you find it?

"ph/t" means "papist hat tip", so that's where I found it: the Phatmass phorum.

I tried finding an online vender but no luck. You might ask the person who originally posted it to the forum.

It's a beautiful rosary, but I'm a little worried about the supposed apparitions discussed on the vendor's website.

I followed the link to the ministry that is behind this, Holy Love Ministry. They have a list of endorsements including a couple of Bishops. It also had a note from an author I am familiar with, Edward D. O'Connor C.S.C., to the Bishop of Cleveland. I am not sure that they are valid but have to assume they are until I find evidence to the contrary.
That aside, like all visionaries, I will reserve judgement on the message until the Church rules. However it does seem like there have been some conflicts with the Cleveland diocese under former Bishop Pilla. Again, this type of thing has happenned with other approved visions during the time of their occurring. & even if they ever are, like all prvate revelations, there will be no requirement to believe, even then.

I've had contact with the Diocese in which these "apparitions" occur.
The "seers" have separated themselves from the Church and have gone more along the lines of an ecumenical movement.
The group is not approved by the local Ordinary and the faithful are not encouraged to follow them.

What grabbed my attention was question number 3 on the FAQ: http://www.rosaryoftheunborn.com....com/
faqs.shtml
FWIW, the caution statement of the diocese of Cleveland can be found here:

Itemid=385

Thanks for the first link, Robert. The answer to question #3 makes *their* rosary sound like a magical talisman.

Would it be bad to buy a rosary from them if they remained unapproved by the diocese?

I don't know. I have a Monastery Icons icon, and found out about them after the fact, so I just had it blessed.
I need something to help me make the abortion issue more personal, to motivate me to prayer. I tend to think that if God can use somebody wacky to do that, more power to Him, yk?

Quote from the CAUTION of the Diocese of Cleveland"
"We would caution anyone considering support of such a venture to realize that this organization has no approval or support from the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland"
So yes, buying a Rosary from them would be supporting them. Some of the claims in the site's FAQ are strange- why would Jesus want the Rosaries to be sold only by them?

Yeah, I commented before I actually read the links. I don't mind giving money to people who aren't Catholic but do good things with it. However, once you claim that Jesus and the Blessed Virgin want you to have exclusive dibs on whatever, I'm done. I have yet to manage to find the imitators or counterfeits, but I'll keep looking!

Let me know if you find the imitators! I'm looking too. I love the Rosary a lot, but I just can't bring myself to order it from these guys.

I posted on our group blog after seeing this... and then came to find out about the odd claims associated with it...
Thinking about pulling the post, but it is a cool Rosary.
