This is probably one of the most ludicrous things bin Hidin' has said.
Maybe it's a sign that he's losing his mind.
I think it indicates that mentally, he (and so many in Islam) is still stuck in the Middle Ages. He doesn't realize there has been a reformation, and an 'enlightenment', that Danes don't have any allegiance to the pope, etc.
Violence, viciousness, and ignorance make it very difficult to dialogue for peace with these people.

It is also a good reminder that appeasement makes you the target. These weak comments by Rome make me cringe:

In the face of the threat to Western Civilization, all the Vatican can do is plead with Osama that the Vatican condemned the cartoons (I guess the Vatican no longer wishes for free speech when it involves criticizing Islam). Instead of defending ourselves, Father Lombardi espouses dhimmitude.
We really need to pray for Pope Benedict's safety because those surrounding him in the Vatican, with their appeasement stance, are encouraging unwittingly even bolder actions by Islam against the Catholic Church and the West.
I firmly believe in lighting a candle rather than cursing the darkness, but the darkness seems pretty vast right now... Il Papa should just call BL an imbecile and be done with it, see what comes of it....
Violence is the weapon of the weak. These people are weak of mind and small of spirit... it's sad that we're even talking about them as if they weren't just a moss beneath Il Papa's feet.

Bin Laden needs to get a life! That was ridiculous for him to accuse B16 of being responsible for the crusade against him!
