At this stage of her career, La Popessa Americana may be a bit too fussy in her choice of viewers. She will need every one of them from now to the expiration of her contract in three years. Meanwhile, "Too Controversial For Oprah" is a slogan made in marketing heaven for our Pistol Packin Mama. Would be so cool if it's used before November 4.

The great thing about Palin is that the media is in a frenzy to find something bad about her and really are failing miserably. So far all they've been able to shock us with is that she tried to get her psycho ex-brother in law removed from public service , that she has five kids, that her daughter made a mistake, and that she went to six colleges in six years (well, she returned to one, so I guess five) but there is no explanation as to why she might have done this. (like, as a possibility, having to take some classes at a community college because they are cheaper than a university.) The best thing about her is that she is unlike politicians, she is wholesome and real, like...well, Americans.
Palin simply has all the right enemies.
I heard last night about an inquiry by Palin when she was mayor on how "she could go about banning books" at the Wasilla library. This is troubling to me.

The smear merchants who continue to circulate the list also failed to do a simple Google search, which would have showed them that the bogus Sarah Palin Banned Book List is almost an exact copy-and-paste reproduction of a generic list of “Books Banned at One Time or Another in the United States” that has been floating around the Internet for years.

Oprah bypassed Clinton, too. So what? She came out early for Obama. Fox is popular too and would give Palin lots of air time if she ever gets unleashed by the McCain campaign and RNC.
