I am from St. Petersburg, and recently had the opportunity to go and see this exhibit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is able to go. The exhibit includes a great deal of history about the Vatican, the Papacy, and the Church in general. There are many very interesting items and works of art. There are relics of some great saints there, including St. Peter, as well as vestments that belonged to several popes, and much more. The exhibit traces the history of the Church from its beginning to the present day, ending with a room devoted to John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Overall it was a great exhibit and well worth the time and money to visit!
