Isn't it ironic that there is nothing complex or surprising about that article?

That's got to be the sorriest excuse for journalism I've ever read....so random, so off topic, with little digs here and there...this guy's clearly got no journalistic ethics...

Wow! What a rag, I would even use that paper to wash my windows... don't want to get them dirty. I think it's odd that they're criticizing him for being less in tune with the people. It's like they're rehashing the stuff they wrote up when John Paul II died--"No Pope will ever have this much influence again, Pope Benedict is standing in between JPII and the next media-savvy pope, He won't do anything because he's old." Personally, I find that Pope Benedict has done a lot of really great things during his reign. His encyclicals are profound, and written with a real sense of what lay catholics 'on the ground' need. I think that I've done more evangelization with Deus Caritas Est than with anything else I learned in seminary. I love Benedict--He's a good man and a great Pope.

I like to think of it as "He doesn't HAVE to anything he doesn't want to!"
