That is absolutely disgusting.
I read this out loud to my family, and everyone said "What!?"

The Pope has been stressing the primacy of the Natural Law as a guide and guard against the license of modern society. Boy do we need us some Natural Law right about now.
BTW, I think that Granpa' Jones' version of the song was better.

Our hedonistic, self-absorbed culture is so far down the slippery slope, I'm not sure there is any way to salvage it.

By the way, the facts of this story are actually much worse than the scenario that plays out in "I'm my own grandpa."

It sounds like the episode of Furturama whereby Fry was his own Grandfather...so he could protect the universe against the Giant Brains...

Isn't this the plot of half the books by VC Andrews? Oh wait, her characters bypassed all the doctors and simply used the direct method. Why is it okay for medical science to father babies this way, but if you do so naturally you end up on Jerry Springer?

We already don't concede the personhood of the unborn - why is it such a strech that we would begin but by bit to take away the personhood of the child? It doesn't matter to the clinic or anyone directly involved who fathers the child as long as the parents get their way. Contraception, IVF and abortion are all part of the same slippery slope.
