From a very casual POV:
it seems like the Anglicans will split; the folks that are more Catholic will go to the Catholics, and the ones that want to ordain women, etc, will go modern protestant.

Anyone else get the idea that Cardinal Kasper's reaction indicates he got the word that the Pope is really considering letting the Traditional Anglican Communion and other large groups in? Seems like Kasper's making a big push for identity, because there's going to be a lot less unity

Finally, a voice of reason. I love my Anglican and Episcopalian friends, but I'm so tired of their perpetual fence-sitting. Pick a side and get on with it!

Chris, yes. I was wondering why nothing happened last fall. I just hope Cardinal Kasper doesn't slow things down indefinitely.
