Joe Biden was hardly an inspired choice for the Obammasiah. If the American bishops don't take on this issuehead on this time, more damage to the Faith will occur. The USCCB might just as well say, it's a matter of choice and personal conscience, because defacto, that's where we're at because of their shilly-shally position. Tom
The picture of Communion would be better off, say, of the Pope or just his hands elevating the Sacred Host at Consecration. We will know why the Blessed Sacrement is included among the pictures, so they don't have to show someone actually receiving. The Communion-in-the-hand thing simply isn't universal enough.
I notice the blog has already been visited by a progressive instructing us to shut up and not rock the boat. Tolerance indeed.
