Sometimes I am afraid of what people mean when they say they are Catholic in Boston. It is almost impossible to know what is meant except that it is most likely out of line with church teachings. How can a women say she is becoming a Catholic priest; if she becomes a priest she certainly will no longer be Catholic.

Ahhh, I LOVED Curt Jester's "Newsweek" piece! I took the same basic approach with a local weekly which reported on the ordination of a woman as a "Catholic priest," and, not surprisingly, the editor there didn't get it.
