Time to give St. Joseph a little attention...?
Let's see now. Papa Benedetto's name is Joseph, St. Joseph is the padrone of the Universal Church.
You may be right.
One of the greatest homilies I've ever heard was given by Boston auxiliary Bishop Emilio Allue on St. Joseph. I believe it was on the Feast of the Holy Family several years ago.
Certainly St. Joseph is worthy of more attention, especially in a hedonistic society infected also with a radical feminism which disdains fatherhood.
St. Joseph is a man's man.
Here in Houston, there is an organization called "ProVision" who are dedicated to promoting the canonization of Blessed Miguel Pro. One of ProVision's founders is a gentleman who is very old & very holy. One day he told me that before the end of time, we will find the body of St. Joseph incorrupt - he said this was a prophecy, from where I am not sure.

St. Peter Julian Eymard said: "Our Lord has given me a singular grace. He has inspired me to dedicate myself in a special manner to St. Joseph as my father, leader, and protector."
