Do we not elect politicians to make laws that help people honor their responsibilities, such as protecting life itself? Can politicians not tell someone else not to kill? If you can kill a baby in the womb, Nancy, why not outside of it? Oh wait, you are in favor of partial birth abortion, so-called because the baby sticks out of the “mother” about halfway, while the “doctor” sucks out the baby's brain. That seems comparable to the choice the Nazis made killing six million Jews.
Yes, Nancy, we (together with your pro-life family) would all like it if you were not so vocally pro-choice, i.e. pro-death. Until your choice is in line with Catholic doctrine, please, Nancy, do not receive the Eucharist when you attend Mass.
Of course, everyone wants Mrs. Pelosi to repent of her sins in order to attain eternal salvation.
It is undoubtably a typical journalistic lack of accuracy. Culturally Austrians are very thorough and I can't imagine an Austrian auxiliary bishop acting without having all his ducks in a row. Bishop Laun is a supporter of Humanae vitae and he is to be commended for what ever action he took. The reporter couldn't take the time to find out what it was exactly. Hoch soll Bischof Laun leben!
May the mall owner have a change of heart. The resistance to abortion among the laity is almost nil there. The sheperd is leading the sheep.
The spokesman for the Cardinal is apparently speaking on his own, and not for the Cardinal. Also, Cardinal Schoenborn has apparently been lukewarm about taking actual concrete steps to stop abortion -like writing letters to politicians!
