The camera sound does NOT reflect the tone and timbre as well as it could. I can only vouch for Tom's opinion that Mike and his band really are as talented as Tom says, having been at the Quincy House gathering myself. Their sound is very unique; it is at once mellow and incredibly well rounded and full. The best compliment I can pay these guys is that they are definitely not "Christian Rock." To say that would be offensive to their musical and lyrical skill and style. To riff on Capone a bit, they should be supported early and often.
I am really impressed with Mike and his band. Talented musicians with a real sense for artful performance. I really wish that the performance could have been recorded, but oh well.
Also, I had a chance to listen to the newest album, and it is quite well produced.

Mike is awesome- I had the privilege to travel to WYD in Germany with some awesome conservative Jesuits (never thought I would see those 2 words together) and Dominican sisters. Mike and his then girlfriend were part of the group and we were able to enjoy his music throughout. And his proposal is inspiring.
His first album was awesome and I am glad to hear that a 2nd album is out and that he is continuing his music ministry. I hope he comes to SE Michigan soon!
