This is not a true photo. I take care of premature infants as a pediatric resident, and no infant has feet this small. Yes, there are many small babies that survive, and they are truly amazing. The "precious feet" pins depict the feet of an appoximately 10wk gestational age infant. No infant can live at that age. The threshold of viability currently is about 23 weeks gestation, and those babies' feet are about an inch long.
