Solemn, beautiful photos of the Holy Father. This is the first time he's worn a roman chasuble at a pontifical liturgy, too. None of the photos I've yet seen showed a prostration, either. Did he not do one? I wonder if that signals anything about diminishing strength? Although, in watching the EWTN broadcast, he can still genuflect unaided and "scoot" up and down stairs unaided.

His demeanor is so meditative and prayerful. A beautiful model for us.

was that a Roman chasuble? I thought they were a bit 'bell-shaped'. In terms of kissing the Crucifix, I hope this puts an end to those in North America who say the Crucifix should not have a Corpus on it (although it was placed at the wrong height for easy access to the feet, leading to the possibility of silly photos).
What is the proper name for the crooked umbrella carried over the Priest who brought the Blessed Sacrament to the Altar? I seem to remember it's not just 'crooked umbrella'.
