Great story, ('cept for the marketing part).
With a little salt, I do enjoy stories like these.
I still have Lourdes on my mind. So that last sentence, "When he was asked what he would do with the olives, Karni told Israel's Channel 10 he might market their 'holy oil'," reminds of the scene from Song of Bernadette where the Mayor Lacade is sketching out some ideas for marketing his own brand of Lacade Mineral Water.
Somewhere no doubt, good John Paul II is chuckling.
So can this be used as a miracle in pursuit of his sainthood?
