The Holy Father met with Cardinal Vallini on Saturday and sent a letter, dated June 19, to Cardinal Ruini thanking him for his many years of service to the Church of Rome (in honor of his 25th anniversary of episcopal consecration). It would seem that if Vallini were to replace Ruini, it would be happening soon.
