Was it true German pope Benedict XVI became pope April 19, 2005 some 6 hours before Adolf Hitler's 116th yr. birthday? (April 20,1889)Was it true John Paul II was crowned pope on October 16,1978 in honor of 10 Nazis hanged in Nuremburg on October 16,1946? Why are popes crowned on Nazi occassions? Just wondering.
Skylark, give me your birthday, your parents wedding aniversary, and the date you graduated from college (assuming you did, whatever), and, by your own criteria of mystical coincidence, I'll have you looking like a demon in no time.

Good call, Thomas. Skylark obviously is just trolling, or has some serious mental issues. We have had 265 popes, 259 of whom became pope before the Nazi regime existed--would have been difficult to "crown them" on Nazi occasions. Besides, we "install" them now. We used to use nails, but now we prefer glue.

Was it true John Paul II was [installed as] pope on October 16, 1978 in honor of the same cousin's sister's birth which was to come on October 16, 1996? Why are popes [installed] on occasions of the birth of my family members? Answer: we are blessed, indeed! And for more evidence, I was born on the day that the readings change during Advent, so the party starts with my birth and continues to the birth of Christ! (and beyond...)

Did Bill Halley release Rock Arround the Clock on 10 May in honor of my parents 2nd wedding anniversary. I highly doubt my parents chose the date because of events in Nazi Germany that occured on that date.

We all have events that coincide with other events. Just check out any date on Wikipedia & see.
If you follow Skylark's (il)logic then both Pope John Paul I & II intentionally died when they did so that they sucessors, could schedule their accessions when they did.
None of the claims stand up in any way shape or form.
PS Pope John Paul II was never crowned Pope. The last Pope to be crowned was Paul VI.
Papa Benedetto was surprized at the number of people auditioning for the job of official Papal photographer given that the job paid even less than his.

Hey, Garfield's birthday is mine too! Pope Benedict's birthday is only 12 days after my dad's, and in the very same year! Pope Benedict was elected exactly 150 years after Abraham Lincoln was shot! Okay, we all see that these comparisons are just getting silly.
