Why didn't they pronounce *her* dead and say that *she* was taken to the morgue, instead of it? The article clearly states the baby was a girl - it's not like they didn't know her gender. I get corrected if I call someone's dog it instead of he or she. I find it very strange to see a news article call a person it.

This is an amazing story, and unfortunately I just saw the news that the little girl died this morning.

In some hospitals, they would have already donated her organs before she had a chance to let the world know she was still alive.

Mr. Walden- You'd also get more years in jail if you killed the dog than if you killed the newborn.
