Hmmm... the Vatican is certainly getting the bill of the new computer screen after the other got blessedly wet.

Gravatar I've thought about doing the same thing, except I'd throw rocks instead of holy water.

Gravatar "When I flew out of New York, there was this big green statue on the harbor, and THIS is what it looked like"

Gravatar Fr. Jay Toborowsky,

LOL! They're all good, but your's is my favorite! :-)

Gravatar yeah, that WAS good, wasn't it :)

Gravatar Great picture! Love our Papa!

Gravatar Well, he's been blessing my computer screen for three years - changeable background photos ... he is a blessing.

Gravatar Of course Lady Liberty was holding a torch, and Papa Benedict holds the Living Water, nice contrast. "When you find a spark of knowledge, water it." or something like that, hee hee

Gravatar My computer's certainly not acting like it just got blessed by the Pope.

Gravatar Elizabeth,

That must be because it's Protestant. ;-)

Gravatar If David B.'s right, Elizabeth, you might need some more water. If you've got a Protestant computer (a mac, maybe?), you should try full-immersion baptism.

Gravatar Well, if it's Protestant, you might want to confirm an a valid baptism and then for conversion, it would need to make a Profession of Faith ... maybe a marquee? "I believe all that the Holy Catholic Church believes and teaches to be revealed by God."

Gee, that wouldn't be a bad marquee screen saver for all of us ... hm?

Gravatar Wholly and Linda,

Awesome! :-D

Gravatar I don't know about my computers, but I was sprinkled as a baby and immersed as a teen. (I had issues.) Yes I am a Protestant, but always the Tiber beckons. Who is the patron saint of computers, may I ask?

Gravatar The patron saint for the computers and the internet is St. Isidore of Seville. See this story in Christianity Today: http://www.christianitytoday.com.../3-26- 24.0.html
