We just came down through Fort Wayne and across to Cincinnati, lots and lots of McCalin signs everywhere.
Funny thing. Driving through upstate New York, Mass., and Conn. over the weekend I noticed the difference in vehicles that bore the bumper stickers of McPalin and OBiden. The McPalin vehicles were mostly beat up Fords, VWs, or other vehichles that one would consider upper-middle/middle/lower income owners. The OBiden vehicles were all sparkling Lexus, Infinity, BMW SUVs, or similar vehicles that one would associate with the upper-middle/upper income owners.
Considering that OBiden claims to be fighting for the po' man and that McPalin is fighting for the rich oil barons, I found this to be a surprising observation.
Then I realized that most of the Obamabots in the public eye are members of the self-proclaimed elite intelligentsia, especially liberal university professors and media moguls.

I don't want to enable their egos by stating simply that they are members of the elite and intelligentsia. They like those titles. If gives them a tingly sensation along their thighs when a practicing Catholic categorizes them in that way. I added "self-proclaimed" to point out that this is how they categorize themselves. The rest of us aren't fooled.
