Didn't Pontius Pilates' conscience bother him? Will Biden choose the Truth over the will of the people? The statements made public from Biden on abortion clearly need to be corrected by the local Ordinary publicly. Or the local Ordinary is an accessory to Biden's scandal by his silence on the matter.

Well, let's see. Will he assume a role as President of the Senate in shepherding the administration's FOCA through Congress? There is some indication that support for it isn't as great as the Democratic majority; will he be called upon to break a tie? Will he resign his position in protest if it becomes law in spite of his objections?

Has he even figured out, since his "debate" with Sarah Palin, that the Vice President actually does have a legislative role?

So this is big news about Biden. He'll become the 2nd Catholic President since Obama is ineligible to take the oath of office since he wasn't born on US soil.

If Biden's conscience keeps bothering him, as it should, then this may be a great trojan horse indeed!

As Vice President, Biden will probably not be called upon to take any action relative to abortion.

When presiding over the U.S. Senate, all he really has to do is sit in the chair and call for a vote. This is not the type of issue that would likely generate a tie vote.

So if the V.P.-elect has not taken any public action by now that would result in some sanction from his Bishop, it's very unlikely that some new action would lead to such a result.
