FYI -- To get tickets to the Wednesday general audiences, all one had to do was send an e-mail to either (a) the Bishop's Office for U.S. Visitors to the Vatican or to (b) Santa Susanna's in Rome (the U.S. parish), and then go pick up the tickets at the respective office.

Snail mail, etc. was not required.

I don't know where Zenit got their information, but people have been requesting tickets from the Prefecture for the Pontifical Household for several years. Of course, the fax number wasn't as easy to come by as it is now.

Also, tickets can be requested from the U.S. Bishop's Visitors office at the PNAC.

Oh, Bender beat me to it, I think. In 2005 I used this E-mail and corresponded with Sr. Anthony Mary, R.S.M. to get our Wednesday papal audience tickets. This would be for the Bishops' Office for U.S. Visitors To The Vatican, Via dell'Umiltà, 30, 00187 Rome, Italy
