I am clicking on the links to see the question 'Can Catholics Vote For Pro-Choice Politicians and it just takes me to the main page of that site.
For what it's worth, if we are bringing the Constitution into this...it mentions Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness...in that order..if a candidate can't respect and fight for life in ALL it's stages, it's not possible for them to lead our country or any country with sound morality. i could NEVER vote for a pro-choice candidate and still sleep at night.

it is slightly intimidating (did I even spell that right?!) when I'm not technically educated in the Catholic faith, to articulate the evils of abortion to a wider and learned audience...

That is why St. Teresa of Avila is one of my patron saints and I love to read about her. We share the same frustration of not saying what we want as well as we should but doing our best with the little we know.

but I WILL help. Abortion is much too great an evil to not help out on another board.

Reading the blurbs in the "Yes" column, I can sense pieces of my brain falling out. "The Church teaching on abortion is not infallible." Oh dear...

I don't like the format. The "YES" and the "NO" comments begin their own thread, which means, you have to engage the comment posters in their thread rather than the original one you posted. Basically, it doesn't look like it is set up for debate and dialogue, rather, join the thread you agree with and sing to the choir.

No one seems to be interested enough to comment either. Perhaps they were turned off for the same reasons?
