Has anybody even held a copy of the US Catechism? What is the point of this book? Do I need it? What for, if I have the CCC?

I love the CCC. To me it is THE reference book, and if you need to look up a particular subject it is the best starting point.
But if you are looking to READ a catechism, well, the US version is kinda nice too.
That said, I own ONE US version put out by the bishops; and THREE copies of the CCC version (one for my office, one for my teaching satchel, one for my book bag when I head off to my own studies.)

I'm not sure there was a 2/3s quorum at the recent meeting. They had to do liturgy-by-ballot too.

I was going to repeat LCB's comment. Two-thirds of the bishops do not appear to have even been at the meeting.

Shouldn't these biannual meetings be written in their planners with MARKER. How can we expect a "New Pentecost," if we have difficulties with mere attendance. It's a good thing this isn't the secular / business world- they often say that half the battle is "showing up!"
