anti-Benedict posters treated as hate crime - You have perhaps slightly coloured the report! One councillor saying she's going to ask the police to treat it as as hate crime is not quite the same thing.

Besides, while posting anti-Pope posters in NI may be considered incitement to breach of the peace or something, are you really keen for this daft hate crime category to be encouraged?
