Fr. Hardon is my hero! I relied heavily on his reference works during my "dark days" in RCIA, and I actually got to talk to him once for about an hour at a conference.

It would have been interesting to hear what Fr.Hardom would say to the critics of Mother Theresa's faith.
He certainly would know of her great sanctity and devotion.

I went to the Day of Remembrance for Fr. Hardon and it was great! The speakers were all very good, especially Father's biographer Jay McNally.
Father Hardon was the holiest man I have ever met. He was on the board at Ave Maria College in the beginning and I first met him in 1998 and a few times after when he would say Mass at the College. In the first homily that I heard him preach he said that in this current age, ordinary Catholics will not enter into Heaven; one must live a martyr's life or die a martyr's death. He also advised us, based on decades of hearing people's confessions to "beg God for celibacy". I was a recent convert to the Catholic Church and I was very deeply impacted by the depth of truth and wisdom in his message and in his profound Holiness; to be in his presence was to be in the presence of Jesus. At his recent Day of Remembrance, I felt a restoration of Hope that I had lost somewhere along the way. It was good to "see" Fr. Hardon again.
Father's cause for canonization is being postulated by Archbishop Raymond Burke and information is available at Mariancatechist.com. Father used to say "Let me hear from you". Let him hear from you.
