This just in: Jesus announced today that he had no plans to meet with the mayor of Decapolis. Residents of Caesarea, closely aligned with Rome, were angered when reports circulated that Jesus was going to meet with the leader of Greek-speaking Decapolis. Improving relations with the Roman occupying force has long been a goal of Jesus's small band of preachers. A spokesman for Jesus, Simon bar Jona, said that Jesus would not mind meeting with the Caesarians in a low-profile setting, but that no meeting was currently planned.
