The only silver lining is that liberals are not nearly as good as passing on their values to the next generations as are conservatives. Mainly because with liberals, there is not much of a "next generation."

Despite the aspirations of the above charming young couple, competing daisy chains have been connected. If you support gay marriage, more likely than not you also advocate abortion on demand, embryonic stem-cell research, etc. If not, you don't. Then there's the issue of the right time and place to snuff grandma, legalized by I-1000 in Washington state on election day. Attach to appropriate daisy chain. Don't get sick or old, kids. The decision to go might be out of your hands too soon.

Hmmm... not necessarily. Perhaps this is the reason for the so-called pro-life Democrat movement (as small as it is)? Imagine the change of heart only to make it acceptable that gay couples adopt babies that would have otherwise been chopped to pieces or pulled apart in their mothers' wombs? I'm not willing to put anything past current politics. The GOP has not fought for pro-life causes as much as they should have given the opportunities they've had and the Dems have always consistently been pro-death (in recent years). I doubt any "change of heart" is a sincere one and there will always be alterior motives attached to them.

Just a thought. Pro-life! As long as gays can do the adopting.
