My understanding is: Since the FPO's do not own anything, they have been living on land owned by someone else. This land is no longer available to them. I am very grateful that the owner was willing to let Fr Sweeney, Fr Benedict, Brother Mike and the other wonderful FPO's live on his/her land for several years. Fr John gave a retreat at my parish which blew me away!

I too love the FPO's. They are a wonderful group of men. There was a bit of conflict locally and since they are a small order the Cardinal asked them to return to the Boston area. Fr. John and the crew is happily accepting this as God's will and are moving forward. God bless them!
