Ingrid Betancourt was divorced from her husband before her capture by the FARC. She found, or regained, her faith during her captivity.

zenit.org and h2o news have very interesting/inspiring reports.She has alot of wisdom that she shares and she tells about her prayer to the Sacred Heart of JESUS and how God answered. Hearing Pope Benedict's voice on the radio also gave her strength.
