The pro-abortion radio ad in Michigan has now changed the introduction of the speaker from 'a nurse at Planned Parenthood' to 'a nurse practicioner' essentially dropping any reference to Planned Parenthood. This ad runs every morning at roughly 7:30 on WWJ Newsradio AM 950 in Detroit.

It is is actually saying "encouragement for people to be able to carry to term and to raise their children." That would be pretty amazing if that is what actually happened. If all government information on maternity was actually required to encourage women to make the full term choice. Maybe a 3d ultasound might be a good way to provide that encouragment. Having just had a baby with Down Syndrome I can tell you that would be exactly the opposite of what happens now. A major step in the right direction.
But would it happen? Bill Clinton gave the "safe, legal, and rare" line a bad name. But it has real potential. Once poeple allow themselves to think about a fetus as human then it is only a matter of time before a change in law reflects the change in thinking.

I had heard that the Democratic party platform had actually removed the word "rare" from the "safe, legal and rare" abortion plank. I haven't checked it myself, but if it's true, it rather cuts against the other platform change mentioned in the article.

Our most effective course of action (over the long view) is to pray very hard on a daily basis for the souls of all these very deluded people - including Pelosi, Biden, Kennedy, et al.

It's all bull. The Demoncrats promise EVERYONE what they want, and then give us what they want us to have.
And it's not a new position. Bill Clinton ran on the notion of making abortions legal, safe, and rare. That was 16 years ago. He spent his administration keeping the first part, thwarting the second part, and doing the opposite of the third part.
PP and NARAL and NOW knew it was a fraud, and since they're not whining about the plank in the demoncratic platform, you better believe they know it's all fluff now.
Anyone who believes this bull is a sucker.
