The story looks very interesting. The secular press will probably ignore it or pan it, but I think I will have to see it! It does look hopeful!
Wow! A movie I am actually looking forward to seeing. So far, the only good movie I have seen this summer is Prince Caspian (ok, it is the only movie I have seen) But this one, definitely is going on my "must see" list. Besides, if the artsy-fartsy critics hate it, it must be pretty good.

My point is that one movie, probably with a anti-religious summary point somewhere(maybe not), cannot possibly freshen the air these days, and I don't live in or by a city, small town guy. The air is supposed to be clearer and cleaner here, in more ways than one, but it isn't. Life, I'm sorry, isn't a movie or a cartoon.
I am pretty sure my aunt did the casting for this movie. I look forward to seeing it.
The premise for this movie reminds me of something I read in the Bad Catholics Guide to Wine, Whiskey & Song, s.v. "Jagermeister": "If the Virgin Mary appears in the mold on your tortilla, just say a prayer of gratitude and for God's sake eat the thing, unless you really want a broadcast truck from Telemundo parked for six weeks recording the crowds of pilgrims on your lawn. If the apparition starts curing people, you can kiss your garden goodbye: It's going to fill up with discarded crutches, artificial limbs, and thank-you notes written in Tagalog. Try reselling the place after that. You might as well hang up your day job and concentrate on making a profit on the gift shop."
