Gravatar Did you all see the great store for the ladies over at CREATIVE MINORITY REPORT BLOG? Conquer evil with good, and love these women with a nice gift!

Gravatar Nice when we Protestants can admit to the Mother Church we are wrong esp in this context, someday we'll all come home. For what it's worth, my (Presbyterian) church has had a woman pastor. She was good, but we've still been keeping to the men.
Pray for me to swim the Tiber.

Gravatar I could not agree MORE with you than your last sentence, "Would that the official Catholic response similarly took these women to task for these factors." Amen, Amen. Preach it, Brother!

Panda Rosa, I swam the Tiber in '02 from the So. Baptist denomination. WIth arms opened wide, we will welcome you home, safe from your crossing too!

Gravatar panda rose,

come on in, the water's warm and the welcome on the other side is mind-blowing. my prayers for you during this time.

Gravatar Respekt!

Gravatar I'm with you Thomas-that Protestant pastor had more guts in denouncing the so-called 'ordinations'!

I second your 'AMEN!" Miss Meg!

Panda Rosa-I hope you 'swim across' soon!

Gravatar Excellent statement from the pastor!!

Panda Rosa, come home!! I'll be
praying!!

Gravatar I too applaude the pastor. Many Catholic diocese (i.e. Milwaukee and the Episcopal Diocese) have formal or informal agreements that each does not harbour the other's dissenters. Ecumencial partners should respect each other.

Gravatar Pastor,

Should you happen upon this blog, please know that many Catholics are most grateful for your words. Your desire not to fuel the fire of our dissidents means much. I assure you that young and old Catholics, male and female, will recall your courage and kind interfaith gesture!

Best!
~Jake
