An advocate acts as a defense lawyer in penal trials within the courts of the church. I am not quite sure what this commission does, but it has to do with these lawyers. Possibly overseeing proper oversight, function and any problems that might arise from them.

I guess the good Dr. Peters would know.

Huh? Oh, sorry. I thought Marcel was talking about me, but then he said the "good" Dr. Peters, so I knew he had my Grandpa Doc in mind. (Though what Grandpa Doc knew about Rotal advocates, I dunno.)

It is the BAR of the Vatican. You must be in the commision of Advocates in order to present your case in that Vatican Supreme Tribunal. He is going to weed out the Good and bad of the JCL and JCD.
