chiro-practically impaired you say? Impossible! That's right. Chiros can do no wrong. They are held to the highest medical standards and any nay sayer is just an agitator from the AMA right? How bout ethical standards? Here's one for you. About 3 years ago i went in for an adjustment to a chiro that i'd seen for 7 years. I told him i had a rib out of place and had pain breathing. He does the side posture move on me with greater and greater force until he heard a pop. I felt this weird uncomfortable pain, got up, had trouble walking, got in my car drove a few blocks and when i got out, I couldn't walk normal because my whole si joint was locked up. I called him right away and said hey, there's something really weird going on here. Oh, no problem he said, just come back in and i'll fix it. So i go back in for the "quick fix" and i've been totally aware of my lower back discomfort since then. When i told him that i didn't think i should have to pay for the "fix" because this was a totally new problem that i'd never had he said "well maybe you should talk to my lawyer and insurance then because i've been doing this for 21 years and have never been sued"
So a year later, after loosing about 20k worth of income and spending thousands to get some relief and went back in and asked him who his lawyer actually was. He admitted that he didn't have one and that i should leave and never come back. Hows that for a pompous ass?
Unfortunately, i was relating this story to a guy sitting next to me on a flight a last spring, and the lady sitting next to him leaned over and said "that's what happened to me too".
It also happened to my girlfriend who went to a different chiro. So what's all this crap about chiros are perfect? What a joke. The only thing that makes them perfect in a legal sense is that it's virtually impossible to sue them. You go in with a problem, you leave with a problem. It's your word against theirs - suckaaaah. For some reason they all cover for each other. I'm a contractor. If i know of a fraudulent contractor rippin people off i tell everybody i know who's thinking of remodeling or building. But other chiros have told me that it's impossible to have had my si joint totally blown out my a 220lb Quack jumpin up and down on me.
The more people realize how risky chiros are the better off we'll all be. I've got a lot more horror stories if you are interested.
Hi. You know how they are saying that super volcanos could erupt any minute? Well, I think that sicientists should invent a force feild that could go around the volcano, and suck it into a different univers or planet or galexy, or mabye even send it to the sun. If you are a scientist, or know one, please try using this idea, or talk about it in the scientific community. Im 12, and I have a whole lot on my mind about these matters.
